CANCER AWARENESS SEMINAR

On 17 th and 18 th September 2023, department of Education, Barathiar University conducted a two day national seminar on "cancer awareness: early identification and diagnosis for women".On 17/10/2023 Tuesday,the furst session was handled by Dr.K Ravikumar Ms,Mch (endocrine) surgical endocrinologst and brest oncosurgen.from this session i came to know about HPV vaccine and it's importance.The second session was Dr.K Ravikumar sir.He gave us more awareness about cancer and it's further treatment.The next session was held by Saraswati ma'am.Her was was very interesting,she revealed the real pain and sufferings of cancer patients.We should keep an empathy towards them.The 4 th session was conducted by Dr.Avanthi S.L (gynaecologist) she talked about screening and preventative measures of gynecological cancer.Her presentation was awesome.On 18/10/2023 the first class was held by Dr.SunilKumar Thangaraj(oncologist). Through this class i was able to understand that there are different methods for detecting of cancer and there is different treatment to cure from cancer.The next session was handled by Poornima Kumar senior counsellor of coimbatore cancer foundation.she told her.She shared her experience of working with cancer patients.
